Can't change password on Norton Family Online

I've got Norton 360 and added Norton Online Family about a year ago. Unfortunately, because Online Family will still allow access to pornographic sites with only a mild warning first, my 14 year old has been accessing sites and then accessing my email account and deleting the notifications. #1 - is there any way to completely block pornographic sites with this program (no access whatsoever) and #2 - how do I change my email address? From the very simple profile page, my options under "manage account" are "your name" "change avatar" "your email" (which I can see but cannot change), and "password". How do you update your email? Please advise. I want to know before I upgrade to premier if this program is sufficient for a deceptive child when I can't even change my email account.

Ok, now I'm completely confused. My login email is the wrong email, but it's sending notifications to the right email address (which is nowhere to be found on the very simple website account). I've got the product installed on my computer and the kids' computer, but it won't let me log in on the kids' computer with my name/password. It is saying the computer isn't recognized and to go onto Norton Online Family and add it. I've searched the site for the past hour and have yet to figure out how to add a computer to my account. I tried to delete the program on the kids' computer and reinstall but, again, it won't recognize my password. It's installed on their computer and notifiying me, but I can't see that computer in my online account and it won't let me access the program from that computer. Is anyone else confused yet?

Hi jenvan,

#1 - Is there any way to completely block pornographic sites with this program (no access whatsoever)

From what you described that the children only get a warning when accessing inappropriate sites, you probably  have the Warning option selected.  Please make sure you have the option “Block the site” selected at Settings -> Web and it should block the sites instead of get warnings.

#2 - How do I change my email address?

You can change your email address at https://www.mynortonaccount.com

Please give non-administrative rights (limited or restricted) to your children’s  user accounts and keep the password for the Norton Online Family account away from them.  Otherwise,  the children would have the ability to tamper the program.

Please follow the few steps above and they should help.

If you have further questions, please let us know.

Thanks,

Katie
