Just to be clear, which version of Norton 360 is installed on your system? Version 1 or version 2? If Version 1 is installed, you may want to take advantage of the FREE UPGRADE to Version 2, and see if the updated software resolves the problem for you.

I have Norton 360 version 2, just to clear things up.  Issue is resolved with absolutely NO HELP from SYMANTICS. I spent more than 30 mins with a chat rep and allowing REMOTE ACCESS.

The guy tinkered with this and tinkered with that, it's not NORTON 360 he proudly writes. Of course it is I replied, printer worked perfectly until Norton 360 was installed. **** Thought**** Could an alien virus have infected my computers at the EXACT time I installed Norton 360?

Anyway, after sending the guy back, and thanking him for wasting my time, I uninstalled Norton from BOTH computers and considered returning it. Verified that the printer was accessable to the second computer, which it was. Had a drink, of Pepsi, and re-installed Norton 360 on both computers again. Verified that the "printer and file sharing" was allowed and ................. TADA! Everything was working fine with no more issues.

Norton may make GREAT programs, but they bite at setup and installation. This is not the first Symantec product I hav purchased
