Cant disable/suspend OR LOG IN to acct, WTH

OMG What is going on?!!!!

 

I cannot even log into my acct online:

 

Please, try your request again later.       

An error has occurred with our service, your data is safe, but for your protection and to prevent any possible loss of data your request was halted. The error has been logged and reported and we will look into it shortly.       

    Please return to the home page and log in again. If the problem persists, contact us for assistance.

 

 

I cant disable my program, or even suspend it because it requires a server authentication and apparently the server is down???

 

What sucks for me is that I still cannot use an application on my computer because NOF blocks it (I have YET to get a response from that thread).

 

Guess I'll try and go into MSCONFIG and see if I can disable it thru there and see if I can launch that application that way.

 

GRRR FRUSTRATING.


PS. I've tried since 4:58pm, all the way til 5:13pm

WOW I cant even disable it via MSCONFIG; I go to services tab; uncheck and upon reboot it re activates.  I go back in and uncheck but choose "dont restart" and load msconfig back up and its still checked.

 

WOW!!!

 

I might be making some calls next week and talking LIVE to someone to help fix my issue....being unable to use a specific computer application because of NOF is INSANE

 

Guess I now am gonna have to wait it out and hope the servers come back online


PS Remember I cannot even log into my acct online (above error)

In 20min I'm gonna talk to a live chat support; UNLESS KatieQ or someone can let us know whats going on AND an ETA, thanks :)

 

PS. I've been trying every 5minutes!

I'm in my acct and I was able to disable my service, WOOT!

I'm able to log onto my NOF account.  Are you still experiencing the issue?

Hi Katie,

 

I can't do any of these things either.  Also my "paw print" says "Setup is not complete. Click to complete setup".  I do this and enter my NOF username and password and it says "The Nortan Family Server is temporarily unavilable. Please try again later". Also, I am unable to extend time.

 

This has been happing for at least two days.

Very frustrated. Can't sign in at all.  This is not acceptable.  I've tried many times over many days.

I am experiencing this same issue. I am extremely unimpressed w/ this service / product.

I am suffering the same problem. I can use IE9 as admin, but no one else using their logins can load anything. I can't get to the Online family page to disable it and I get the same message as others above

I have the same issue.  Last several days, when trying to log in, I get a Server Error message.  I cannot log in via the web page or the NOF client.

I have the same issue , since two day a message :"Sorry, An error has occurred on the server" , VERY EXASPERATING !

I am having the same issue. I have 2 accounts, and I can't change the time settings or even extend time. It's not even recognizing my password when I try to extend the time, and on the other computer, safetyminder isn't even there anymore, and I can't get it to download again without an error. This is frustrating me and my kids who are out of school for thanksgiving break.

I have been having the same problems.  I keep getting the error message when trying to login on the website and on my son's computer he couldn't even get on the internet until I somehow disabled Norton Family on his laptop.  This is getting really annoying.

Do you think anyone is going to answer this ? I have done the uninstall and update as was suggested in a different post, but I keep getting the server error and can't even get into my norton account to reinstall online family.  I was trying to get into online family because for some reason it wasn't working with google chrome anyone know anything about that.

Same problem here. Katie, a word to your management. We are paying for 24 / 7 monitoring. Kinda defeats the purpose if the servers keep going down. I would suggest that someone from Symantec should get on here if only to tell us when it will be fixed.

I can't login to my online family account neither in PC, iPad or Android tablet. The problem was revealed more than a week ago, but I just didn't have time to go for a help. Today I tried and the same bad story happens.
