Can't download Quicken 2012 bank data since I installed Norton Internet Security on Windows 7

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and Quicken 2012 and downloaded Norton from my Comcast account.  Everything is working except that when I go to my bank account online and click to download current account files, nothing happens.  No error message, nothing.  I searched for the files, and they are no where to be found on the Windows side.

I do need to say that I am running Parallels, and on the MAC side I also have Norton.  That file downloads fine.  I'm able to locate them and open them.  I'd just like to be able to stay on the same side of my computer when I'm working with Quicken 2012 for Windows, and it appears that Norton is the problem.  I'm missing something in the setup and maybe someone can direct me.  I would also like to totally let Norton handle my security but I'm not sure what needs to be done with Windows 7.  I know this isn'tt a Microsoft side, but if anyone has gone through this, I'd appreciate some direct.

Hi mustangmaddi and welcome to the forums,

Curious, do you by any chance have Constant Guard Protection Suite (CGPS) installed on your WIN 7 system?  When you downloaded and installed Norton Security Suite (NSS) from Comcast did you also install CGPS?

Please look in your Win 7 Programs and Features and see if a CGPS (Guided ID and/or ID Vault) may be listed and if so - remove them all.  NSS should remain installed after their removal.

CGPS has caused many problems for Comcast users and us experts on the Comcast forum recommend it's removal and found it clears up many problems.

Once we your receive your feedback, we'll know better what route to go to try to correct your problems.

I will also notify the mods to move your post  to the Other Norton Products Board for greater visibilty, but you will have a link available so you do not lose sight of this thread.
