Can't download the Norton Removal Tool

I have been trying to download the norton removal tool to remove nis 2010, but every time I try to download via Firefox it says “Firefox can’t find the server at ftp.symantec.com” When I try IE it says that it can’t connect either. I also tried downloading from other machines, other OS, etc. so i am pretty sure that it isn’t a virus or system problem. I was wondering in anyone else has had a problem, or if someone has another place to download from that doesn’t refer to the ftp site address Thanks in advance for your help

Try the following link I just downloaded it OK in IE and FF - even FTP

Hey Well, an update… had to manually configure the dns on a machine and used the Google dns 8.8.8.8 and that let me get the download. I am guessing the error is in the dns server that is automatically assigned by my internet service… so that is interesting I appreciate the help and reply, and finding out that you weren’t having the problem led my mind to the solution.
