I have been unable to extend the time on my children's accounts when they either reach their allotment of time or when their curfew has been reached. When Safety Minder was first installed, I was able to do this by clicking on the "Extend time" icon, which would bring up a window asking for my email and password, and I was then able to select to extend the time, either by a set amount or until the next login.
Now, the window comes up, but it disappears before I can even type in half of my email address. The window stays open for maybe 10-15 seconds, then disappears. Repeated attempts (by clicking on the selection to extend time) yield the same behavior. This happens from within all the kids accounts, and it definitely is a change from when I first installed SafetyMinder and could extend their time. (I first noticed it about the time Firefox 3.5 came out and notice the online monitoring in Firefox wasn't working; I don't know if that's when the problems with extending time actually started, but that is when I first noticed it.)
The computer is a Windows XP (SP3) machine with Norton 360 (v. 3.5.2.11) installed. The version of Norton Saftety Minder is 1.1.5.15 (Norton Online Framework version 1.1.5.14, Norton Online DataStore version 1.1.5.14 ).
(For what it's worth, I also have the problem with numerous messages (erroneous, I think) saying that SafetyMinder has been disabled when it hasn't.)
Thanks,
Jim
