Can't get NIS to ignore some files.

I can't get Norton to understand that program is not a virus, and NIS requests, about every 15 minutes, that  I let NIS remove the file.

The 'Help' file is wrong. It explains how, but the screen it refers to does not include the ignore option described in the Help file. Nortons popup warning of the wrongfully detected file as infected is almost as bad as those false-positive popups I've seen on others computers. And yes, it is a Nortoin NIS provocation to remove the program that is not a virus.

How can I convince NIS to ignore that file? And, why is the option described in the Help file not available in my version?

BTW - my version of NIS 2011 is also missing the visit Cyberlink Crime, and updated help files. But, that is another story.

My version is: (OK - just found that one can't copy that, so view the screen cap attachment please)

Good gads!!!!! Now I get a notice saying I can't attach a jpeg to this post. K, so I opened NIS, clicked Support, clicked About, wrote it down, and then typed it from my note. Isn't software supposed to make things easier and faster? Still waiting!
