Can't get Norton 360 antispam to work

I use Outlook Express 6 on a Windows XP PC.  The Outlook Express integration is turned on and I've entered some custom rules such as keywords in the subject line, yet it never marks anything as spam.

Am I missing something?

I know that's what it should be doing but it's not.

For example, I get several message every day with my e-mail account user name in the subject line such as "Hello <username>, cheap meds for you!

Even though I've manually selected dozens of these e-mails as spam and set up a rule that any e-mail with my username in the subject line is spam, it still has yet to mark a single message as spam.

Have you tried blocking the email addresses by adding them to the 'Blocked List'.

Go to Norton window  --  Anti Spam  --  Addresses

Then click 'configure ' link for 'Blocked List'.

I think there are two methods of making up 'Rules' in OE 6

Either :-

Tools  --  Message Rules  --  Mail

or

Message  --  Create Rule for message

Have you tried both ?

One seem to make a Rule for 'New Mail'

The other seem to create a Rule for/from Messages received.

Hi

I've sent you a Private Message asking for few info. You can access it by clicking on the List Private Messages  icon in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Please reply back. This will help us to solve your issue

Thanks
