I upgraded my iMac to a new 24 inch system that uses the M1 pro processor. I have a subscription through AARP. It worked on my previous Intel system. When I try to download it, I only get the Norton VPN program nothing else. I chatted with Norton for over an hour, and could not resolve the problem. They took control of my system tried installing it several time. Finally they wanted to load the Chrome browser (I used Safari), that's when I drew the line. Is there a reason I can't download N360? Is it not compatible with the new Apple M1 processors? I tried calling Norton today via landline, and was told their computers were down and to call back in a couple of hours. Is it just me or does their tech support totally suck?
Obviously Norton doesn't give 2 cents about how their product will not work as advertised. I tried a second time with their "technical" support group, and even let them install Chrome on my system. They obviously don't have the faintest idea what they're doing......I'm canceling my subscription now, and looking for other options. I'm still waiting on the call I was supposed to get within 48-72 hours of my last contact with them.
Also have an imac m1 24'... I can't get the antivirus installed as part of my subscription...
I spoke to support yesterday, they took control and messed around for 20 minutes until I got fed up.. they kept trying to install the windows version on my mac... clearly that won't work... clueless.
