Hi,
I purchased Norton Antivirs 2010 2 weeks ago. Installed it, executed LiveUpdate a few times, scanned immeadiatly my pc. Installation was succesful, full system scan was also succesful.
After rebooting, when double clicking on the Norton Antivirus-icon on my desktop, it does nothing. After a while I get this error: Error 8504,104 after I install my Norton 2010 product
Some necessary info and steps I already executed:
- Installation is doen with Administrator rights
- Operating system: Vista 32-bit
- Followed the steps mentioned on this page: http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20090916123608EN&pvid=nis_2010&selected_nav=6
It didn't solve my problem
- I chatted an hour with someone from norton. He told me to uninstall Norton with the Norton Removal tool again and reinstall it with NAV-UPGRADE-ESD-17-5-0-127-NL.exe. Even this didn't solve my problem.
- Fileversion of the executable on my desktop: 17.5.0.127
Are there other solutions? I would really appreciate some help
