Can't login into Online Family Norton

After installing Norton 360, I proceeded to configure parental controls.  When clicking the link it took me to the Online Family page and I proceeded to login.   My login failed and I received the following message:

 

Sorry, An error has occurred on the server. Please, try your request again later.

An error has occurred with our service, your data is safe, but for your protection and to prevent any possible loss of data your request was halted. The error has been logged and reported and we will look into it shortly.

Please return to the home page and log in again. If the problem persists, contact us for assistance.

 

I need assistance.

Hi seoul,

 

I see the reason why you're getting the error message. You probably still use the "I Accept" link in the email that you received after registration as an invited parent (I was able to reproduce it). Please use https://onlinefamily.norton.com/familysafety/loginStart.fs to log onto Onlinefamily.norton website and it should work.

I used the link you provided and I still received the same error message.  I used the same username (email) and password for my Norton account, is this the correct thing to do?
