I'm writing on behalf of my client to see if anything can be done. He uses Identity Safe 2009 to store login information to a website. Recently, Identity Safe 2009 was uninstalled by someone else from his office when he was away. When he returned, he installed the software back onto his computer, but the password to access Identity Safe no longer worked.
He called us in to try to restore the data, so we used software to retrieve the lost IdentitySafeDataStore folder. When we put the recovered files back into the original folder locations, the password was still unable to login to Identity Safe.
Is there any advice for steps that we can try, or does Norton Support have the ability to unlock the encrypted file so that my customer can retreive the information?
