I have been using Save & Restore for the past year with success. Recently, some windows system files have become corrupt, so MS support walked me through the process of correcting those corrupt files. In the process of that, they had me repair my Vista installation from a Vista SP1 DVD.
From that point forward, the Norton Save & Restore daemon continues to create backups, but I can't run the GUI. I get the following error:

This error is simillar to others on the board, so I've tried the following:
1) Uninstalling & reinstalling Norton Save & Restore [same problem]
2) Installing the 2.0 .Net framework from microsoft website [the installer claims it's already installed, so it does nothing]
3) Multiple reboots.
I've checked the 'installed programs' list for what .NET frameworks are installed, and it's .NET 3.5 SP1, which according to the documentation, includes all the 2.0 stuff as well.
At this point, I'm stuck in the water and unable to use the product.
Help?
Thanks,
CrashNBurns
