I had nortons installed on a new Windows 10 netbook. I had to uninstall it because there was a temporary hardware problem. I have the cd rom with a licence for 3 PC's. This netbook is the third PC. When I went to re-install Nortons it would not do so. Saying that I had run out of licences yet this is for the same computer. It would not give any option to re-install. I tried to go through the option of transferring the licence from this computer to the same computer but it kept indicating that there was an unresolved issue but would not give any option to resolve the issue
