I bought a new subscription for Norton 360 which runs until April next year. Unfortunately due to a system restore I have lost my Norton 360, it is still showing on my programme list so when I have tried to reinstall using the disc it tells me that I have to remove it before I can reinstall. When I click on uninstall on my programme list it tells me that ' the specific module cannot be found' so I can go no further.

First check to see if Noron was partially installed by checking for an entry in Add-Remove Programs or Programs and Features. If not, then skip the step about uninstalling from this location and use only the Norton Removal Tool
Although some of these procedures may seem redundant, please execute each step.
Although your suggestions didn't work (it would still crash every time), I eventually got it to reinstall by doing this:
After it gives me a BSOD and I restart the computer, Norton would always be partially installed. So I decided to locate the driver (BHdrvx86.sys) and keep an eye on that folder once it started to install. I deleted the driver as soon as it appeared and the installation process was able to continue.
I have LU up and running now. Thank you for your help.
