I'm having a lot of difficulty getting the files restored to a new computer.
The hard drive on an old PC crashed, but fortunately I had set up NOBU and it had recently completed a backup successfully. Over 5.8GB of files are now stored.
In attempting to restore them to a new computer, I haven't had any success.
I choose the option to restore to a different computer and select (check) the main directory to restore. The system then states that the server is processing, stays in that state for about 10 minutes, and then comes back saying that the restore has completed successfully. However, a very small part of the restore takes place: a few directories are set up in the "Recovered Files" directory on the desktop, a few files (like cookies and other .txt files), for a total of about 10 MB.
I've tried restoring to three different PCs, all with the same result.
I've also tried restoring multiple, individually selected, files with inconsistent success. Even if I could restore 5 files at a time, this wouldn't work, as there are way too many files I'd like to restore.
I've tried working with customer services a couple of times, but without any success so far.
- Has anyone ever had success restoring a large amount of data?
- Anyone have any ideas for me?
