Hi,
I've been trying to do a total backup for my harddrive, and I placed the settings to include the entire C:// "folder" (my hard-drive). When I previewed it, I only saw 100 GB of my 500 GB was being recognized. Next time I tried including every subfolder, but that came with the same results.
Do I have to type down every type of abnormal file I have in order to get them backed up, or is there a simpler way to just include everything?
Hi mistrsam,
As Subash points out, Norton 360 is really intended for backing up your personal data. What you are attempting to do is to backup your operating system and programs along with your data and everything else on the C:\ drive. For that, you need a specialized backup program that creates a disk image, such as Norton Ghost, Acronis True Image, or several others. Windows 7 even has the ability to do this without a third-party program.

Alright, thanks a bunch for the help.
If I can ask another question though, what program do you guys suggest for me to make a complete backup?
Hi mistrsam,
For that, you need a specialized backup program that creates a disk image, such as Norton Ghost, Acronis True Image, Power Backup and others. Windows 7 also has the ability to do a backup by itself.
Also you can use the Online backup softwares like Carbonite or Mozy.
I suppose you can find the below mentioned Links useful.
