Can't select Delayed Start in Startup Manager

I’m running Windows 7 on my Compaq Presario 50 laptop and wanted to delay some programs at startup. Just ran liveupdate two minutes ago did a system restart and windows updater has been enabled. Two odd things are happening. . Startup manager shows no check marks under “Delay Start” while the message under the box shows “Total applications delayed from system startup: 3” This means three programs are being delayed - right? Shouldn’t there be some check marks appearing? Second issue is that I cannot check or uncheck any program in the" Delay Start" box. I haven’t used the Startup manager for a long time so I can’t tell if this a new problem. Any ideas?

Hi Apostolos    I'm trying to speed up my access to some programs at initial startup by delaying the start of programs that take a while to load or that I seldom use.  The check boxes that appear on my desktop computer running XP and 360 aren't appearing on my laptop with Win 7.  Why is that?

Thanks!

Ran Uninstall/Reinstaller and that resolved the problem:smileyhappy:

Hi Apostolos,

There is a feature in N360 which will disable or delay some startup items, so if a reinstall solved the problem of not being able to click the button...

Hi Krusty13,

Do you think it would run during the uninstallation/installation setup process??

Regards,

What I'm suggesting is if the startup manager in N360 was not working correctly reinstalling N360 obviously solved the  problem.

Cheers!

Hi Krusty13,

OK, I see, I will delete my request as of now!

Thank you very much for the clarification.

Kind regards,
