One of our small office managers contacted me today with this issue.
She remembers upgrading her Norton 360 a couple of days ago. After that she cannot send emails from Outlook. Her emails stay in the Outbox and even if someone hits Send/Receive button those emails aren't sent out.
Please advise how to resolve this issue?
Here's the system specs:
- Windows 7 Pro
- Microsoft Outlook 2010 Business
- Norton 360 v.21.1.0.18 (as it appears in the Add/Remove programs)

Welcome,
Has the system been rebooted since the last updates were installed?
Yes, they can connect to the Internet. As for the settings in Outlook, they did not change anything, whatever was done was done by Norton. That Norton update was the only thing that happened. And that's what I'm asking here.
Also what's new is that when an email is sent and it is placed in the outbox it now stays there until someone manually opens it up from the outbox and then clicks Send button again. So it's like a double action, which was not there before. This way someone has to keep track of emails and manually do it, which is not always easy for a business.
