i just got a new laptop with Internet Security 17.5 pre-installed. i’m trying to run liveupdate. first it said i needed 35MB of updates. i let it go for awhile til it said it was done but realizing it only got 1MB, i started over. and over. and over (yes, i have dialup). now, all of a sudden, it says i need 65MB. i go through the same process where it says it downloaded the updates but failed processing them. so i guess what i’m asking is… can i download the updates (with my download manager) and install them manually? i probably really need these updates.
