Catch all email with my domain is being used to send bulk emails

I have a catch all email package with my domain address so, anything that that has @my domainname.com comes to my inbox. Lately someone is using my catch all domain email to send out bulk emails.

How do I know this? I am getting several out of office replies back for messages that I did not send.

How do I stop this from happening?

Is this being done in my PC or in another server somewhere?

Can anyone suggest a solution?

I am using Norton 360.

I am not only receiving messages indicating "out of office" and  the recipients are not contained in in my contact list?

I am also receiving bounce-backs marked as "undeliverable"?

There is the possibility that some has spoofed your email address to send spam if:

1) None of these messages appear in your sent folder. (correct)

2) You are receiving both out of office and undeliverable notifications and the recipients are not known to you. (correct)

3) You are not observing any unusual computer behavior. (correct)

Is there anyway to avoid this in the future. I love my catch all email but this is becoming a real pain in the butt.

My initial thought is that your email address has been spoofed to disguise the spammer's real address.

I would suggest running a full system scan with 360 in SAFE MODE and observe if any threats are found.

Please let us know the results of the 360 scan.

Generally when a legitimate email address is spoofed, the spammer will use it only for a few days and then move on to another.
