second command is working fine. But still i am not able to retrieve security log. First command executing but output not comming.
Thanks for the feedback. I have notified the team about this. However, I cannot guarantee a fix since the priority and severity are not very high and the team is working very hard on the next version of the product.
You will need to export that category directly from the program interface.
Again, thank you for your valuable input.

I run the following command from command line. It is working fine. But where can we find the result for scanned files? I dont want UI for the result. I am doing some automation work using Norton Internet Security. Does it any other way to scrap the scanned result? Or do we need to use same cclgview for this result also?
C:\Program Files\Norton Internet Security\Norton AntiVirus>Navw32.exe S “C:\Prog

RichC, thanks for ur information.
I am using the following command to scrap the Intrusion prevention log
cclgview.exe -x"C:\intrusion.log" -p1000 -c4
but i am not able to scrap the Security risks log by using
cclgview.exe -x"C:\security.log" -p1000 -c1
why? Is there any other way to scrap Security risks log except selecting Export Category As... from Log menu?
Network connections: 2
Firewall activities: 3
Intrusion prevention: 4
Service activities: 7
Firewall alerts: 9
Security risks: 1
All the options(c2,c3,c4,c4,c7,c9) are working with the above command except Security risk(c1)
Hi desingurajan,
I checked on this and there was a problem with this command line logging that was fixed in the latest version of the 2008 program. Check to see if you have that version. To find the version, start the program and click Help & Support and then click About. Click the Norton product tab.
If you do not have the latest version, 15.5.0.23, then you can download and install the latest version. Click the link for your product:
Norton Internet Security
Norton AntiVirus
Let me know if you have the latest version. If you do, then there could be a problem with that one category.
Thanks for your patience.
