CCSVCHOST comsuming a lot of CPU cycles.

First I'm on W7 Home Prem. x64 and have the lastest release of ISS 2012, but this doesn't matter as this has been going on for awhile.

I have an Intel i7-920 2.67Ghz Quad-core with 8GB's of RAM. It rarely gets bogged down. This is a 2 1/2 year old Dell Studio 435T, and the only reason this is important as it has fan sensors that run the speed of the fan up as more CPU cycles are used. Normally this would occur when I'm doing some video processing. However, for the last few months this has have happening (fan speeding up to hair blower speed) randomly, even if the computer is sitting there idle.

I've got a 'top five' gadget on the desktop, and the culprit of this seems to be CCSVCHOST. Hard to catch what it is really doing and this lasts for less than a minute. Can't determine what kicks it off either?

Web searches say this is a Symantec file, and this file seems to be associated with the product over the years. This install basically has been an update since 2010, that is installed over the prior version.

Information or suggestions?
