NIS 2010 v 17.8.0.5
Vista Home Premium 23 bit with Vista SP2
My question was initaited by another post I read regarding ccsvchst.exe
To the Moderators: I posted this as a seperate question so as to not interfere with the question by the OP on the other post about this file.
I know that ccsvchst.exe is an important Norton/Symantec file.
The confusion I have is that it appears some people have this file where the "S" and the "H" are capitalized in the file name
ccSvcHst.exe
When I look at my ccsvchst.exe then "S" and the "H" in my file are lower case
ccsvchst.exe
For me. I have ccsvchst.exe in:
Task Manager
C:\Program Files\Norton Internet Security\\Engine\17.8.0.5
When I check the file, the file shows signged by symantec with no modification since the date it was installed.
So my questions:
1. Why does mine show in all lower case letters (ccsvchst.exe) while others have it different?
2. Is my file corrupted in some way?
3. Is it because NIS 2010 has it that way (all lower case) while NIS 2011 has the "S" and "H" in caps?
all help appreciated as I'm getting some what concerned about this difference.
Thanks in advance
