Recently I've been haviing issues with Download Insight not displaying notifications is NIS 2010. This is normally fixed by restarting Windows (XP SP3), but I've found that in these cases that when I shut down I get a popup telling me that Windows is waiting for CCSvcHst.exe to quit with a timeout bar. I've waited close to a minute, but it doesn't exit on it's own and I'm forced to hit the "End" button.
So it's like a thread in CCEvtHst.exe is hanging on shutdown or something. It doesn't happen all the time, but I saw it twice last night when rebooting to test stuff.
Anything that can be done about this?
