ccSvcHst.exe

Using

Product Name: Norton Security Suite

  • Version: 4.0.0.12
  •

I've noticed whenever I close Quicken and Quicken does an autocopy, ccSvcHst.exe utilzies nearly the entire CPU capacity of my machine for 2-3 minutes.

Some of this is self-inflicted;  I do need to archive my Quicken files.

However, the Quicken autocopy runs in the background.  Why not adjust the priority at which ccSvcHst.exe processes the contents of the Quicken file to something lower than Internet Explorer, so the compute can continue to function while ccSvcHst.exe works?  If it took 10 minutes it would matter only if I wanted to shut down - but if I was waiting to shut down the lower priority wouldn't matter; ccSvcHst.exe could have the entire CPU..
