When I click on my google browser icon in the task bar google news comes on for me in a matter of seconds. All the web sites I visit pop up quickly, but when I type in centurylink.net it can take anywhere from 2 to 3 minutes for it to come up. Then I click on email it takes a minute and once it opens I am looking at emails and all of a sudden they are not running or are very slow I look up & the tab to the left showing centurylink.net the busy connecting circle is spinning again. I wait till it is done then the email works OK. I have since learned to x out the centurylink.net tab and my email works OK then. When I asked centurylink about this they tell me I must have a malware problem. But, to my way of thinking why would it only effect one web site & why wouldn't it show up when I run Norton 360 deep scan or when I paid Norton for a computer Tune Up? How do I run a malware check & will it repair too? Thank you, Gary
