Since yesterday all my MS-Office files, jpgs, pdfs and so on have a new extension "cerber", there are encrypted and there is no possibility to open. Strange that Norton has not identified this intrusion.To get the solution by the hackers i should by an amount of 0,4 bitcoins thats about 350 Euros.
Is there someone having already encountered such a problem?
Would be nice to know if there is a better solution than paying a ransom.
