I am on Win 7 64 bit, running NIS 20.3.0.36 using IE 10 as my browesr of choice.
I dont know if I am getting old, having a blonde moment or what - but I have the following showing in my Norton Tasks.
Please ignore the Windows Registry Cleaner showing Never - I have it disabled.
You will notice that the Internet Explorer History Cleaner, Internet Explorer Temporary File Cleaner and Windows Temporary File Cleaner have never been run, The most recent install of NIS was Jan 15, 2013 - so I would have thought they should have all run by now.
I have attempted to manually start the tasks by left clicking on the icon on the front of the entry as shown below:
There is the broken dotted box formed around it, but nothing happens. Clicking on that icon for other tasks does in fact start the task.
Get support does not help fix this.
I really do not want to do a reinstall as I still have my online and offline vault, although I am confident I can get both back - just not sure if I want to invest the time.
Anyone have any ideas? I do have Norton Security Suite (v 20.2.0.19 installed on another Win 7 64 bit system with IE 10 and that works as expected. Of course that being a clone of N 360 provides another method to run those using Tuneup and or Task Scheduling for auto tasks.
Am I missing a setting somewhere??? I also seem to have gone brain dead in figuring out how I disabled the Registry cleaner.
