all has been fine, then I ran all the stuff on Utilities. Registry check and so on. Next day and for the last week CHKDSK wants to check files on C drive at startup, before the desktop comes up. It says hit any key to cancel so I do - but I did let it run the scan several times. I also went to my C drive properties and ran the full thing to check the drive and repair errors. No errors came up. I am assuming the Norton Utilities or NIS 20.5.0.28 is causing the problem. Anyone else have this and a solution? I am ready to put my whole computer back to factory image but if Norton is the problem this won't resolve it. I have the same NIS on two other computers and no issues. Don't have the Utilities on those though.
