There is some confusion in terms like product/program update/upgrade.
Of the 4 possible combinations ...
Program update - defined (see link below)
Program upgrade - not defined
Product update - not defined (but used in the title of Tony Weiss' announcement for 19.7.0.9)
Product upgrade - defined (see link below)
Please provide more clarification and consistency (in your documentation) for terms like product upgrade, product update, program upgrade, program update, new version, version upgrade, version update, and in how these terms are used (such as in settings like Automatic Download of New Version), and in announcements (such as in the title of the NIS 19.7.0.9 announcement: "Product Update - 19.7 for Norton Internet Security ...).
I have seen this page:
... which defines Program Update and Product Upgrade (the latter is defined in terms of "new version", but does not state whether a "new version" is considered to be something like 19.x to 20.x, or if a "new version" is considered to be something like 19.6.x to 19.7.x ). Those terms are only two of the 4 possible combinations of Program/Product and Upgrade/Update. The recent announcement for NIS v19.7.0.9 includes the (apparently undefined) term of "Product Update".
Please update your documentation, your announcements, your web pages, etc to (1) define the terms, and (2) use them in a consistent manner.

Thanks!
