I stumbled across Microsoft's KB 822518, which advises adding exclusions to anti-virus programs running on XP. If I understand correctly, failing to add these exclusions may present a problem, but excluding files without identifying the specific folders they are in could also cause problems.
* Are these exclusions important, even though Symantec did not add them via an update?
* If so, it looks like adding exclusions is easy... if only I was sure that I was entering the string for folders and files correctly. Would anyone be willing to show a screen shot of the proper way to add these items to NIS 2008?
Thanks in advance...
