Clearing backup and duplicate files

Issue abstract:about 300gig of backup set and 300gig of PC Norton Backup. Some files are 20 years old. How do I determine which files I still need in one or the other backup, and delete them (without going file by file). Or am I able to remove duplicate files automatically?

Hello pt53. Unfortunately. This Norton article suggests that batch removal of duplicate / older unwanted backup files has to be done manually.
