Hall,
on sti
Funny things going on with Norton, after a major hdd crash, 2 out of 3 disks crashed in my computer, Norton Internet Security 2009 comes up with unsolved items (Vundo and W32 Alcra F). These infected files are located on a disk which does not exist anymore. The drive letter is not used in my new disksetting. I can understand that the program wants to remove these infects, but it is not possibel, due to the fact that the disk is not there. How do I make Norton understand that these items are not in the computer anymore. (The operating XP disk is recovered by a Ghost image) I am using a dual boot system, in XP, Norton comes up with this messages of unsolved items, running in Vista gives me a clean machine, operating disk of XP is scanned as well during Vista operation.
Any suggestion except for deinstall and install again.
Many thanks
WJL
