Cloning with Ghost 14 - Anyway to originate the process with a CD?

Here's the story:   I have a C Drive which is failing but still functioning and which I would like to clone.  It has my programs etc running on it.   I have another hard drive (F) which is fine and onto which I installed Ghost. Perhaps I should have installed this onto an external drive.

I would like to pull the F Drive, put in a new target drive in its bay and clone the C drive to it but as mentioned, Ghost is running on the F Drive.

Ideally, I wish I could run the Clone function off of my CD drive, clone C in the second drive position, reinstall the new cloned drive in the position of the old C drive, return the F drive to its original position and reboot.  But, I now learn, after buying the product, that there is no cloning from a CD unless of course, someone out there in Norton land can help me.

The other possibility might be to uninstall and then reinstall Ghost onto my external drive and then try this out.

Any thoughts on this please?
