What is the best way to contact them? Since we as a company do not own their product I am finding it hard to get a hold of someone via phone. This is causing headaches for us.
This is not the venue for this type of discussion. If you would like to contact Symantec regarding product compatibility issues, please contact me via email (my address is visible on my user profile -- just click my name) with a description of your issue. Thanks.
Our team is doing some further research on this issue to find the cause of this problem. When we get more information, we will post it here. Thanks for letting us know about the problem. I'm sorry I don't have more info at this time, but when more becomes available I'll let you know.
We're working in with OPSWAT to ensure that the product distributed by Comcast, "Norton Security Suite", is properly detected by F5, Juniper, and other SSL VPN providers. The estimate for proper detection of this product is mid-April and this is dependent on how quickly F5, Juniper, and others roll out updates to the end points.
Support for the Comcast branded version of Norton was included in the update to our framework that we rolled out yesterday. F5, Juniper, Cisco and the others should be updating their own products over the next couple of days.
Has anyone been able to successfully connect yet? Have F5, Juniper or Cisco completed their testing on the framework changes to the Comcast version of Norton 360?
I'm not seeing any issue yet. I just wanted to make sure that the solution was available so that we could install the latest version of F5 Network with the fix at work. Once they have installed the new version at work, I will download the Comcast version and try it again. Thanks
