I find I’m not able to uninstall KB5065426, or at least it’s not listed in the updates that I can uninstall, from the Settings/Windows Update.
I wanted to perhaps confirm that I’m seeing the same thing.
I installed KB5065426 on Sept 11, and didn’t run into any issue, that I noticed, until Sept23, I think after a Norton update that required a restart.
After that, I get total internet cut, triggered by System Error Event 7031 (“Norton Antivirus service terminated unexpectedly.”) and Application Error Event 1000 (NortonSvc.exe crash exception code 0xc0000409.). After this, I start getting System Event 1014 DNS Client Events. After a PC restart, things are normal until the next episode.
I see that these crashes are into the Windows Error Reporting folders, presumably going to MSFT. I only turned the error logging on in Norton about two days ago (and have 3 episodes since then), but am not sure if these crashes are being reported to Norton automatically in my case, or not.
It seems quite similar to the issues discussed, but I wanted to ask if the crash exception code matches.
I dont now a thing about the code only that but if you got a problem ask mee ass i possible now more then you thing maybe what is in the next version of norton 360 25.10 and norton utilities all from 25.2 to 25.4 cant say all but i can say many thing i am under nda but i has more power to get info there is not under nda then you think so just ask
Same issue but mine started when connecting to adobe cloud. Norton blocked all internet acces and didn’t even make a note of it in the log. Tried a lot, reboot helped until I connected to adobe again and eventually uninstalled Norton 360. After that everything worked. Reinstalled Norton and adobe cloud worked after that.
Then I tried to upload to the frameio website and was blocked immediately. Multiple tests, disables smart firewall and just about every feature but after every reboot when I connected and tried to upload on frameio all internet acces would be blocked. Only solution was to uninstall and go with Windows 11 Defender for now
It a bug expect it fix in 48hours or the next days from norton they is sending many miner ore hotfix out ass im told the big hotfix is max 10 days away

I’m on the same build, but as Norton’s history viewing doesn’t seem to allow me to identify when which build was installed, I don’t know if my recent NortonSvc.exe crashes noted above were while it was installed, or if it was a previous build.
nice the bug is dead ass of now and if there is a bug now it is also soon don 100% ass norton is sending out many more stable version plus a fix to other thing like high cpu use

Verbindung wird ohne ersichtlichen Grund einfach unterbrochen und auch trotz Neustarts bekomme ich keinen Zugang über Browser zum Internet obwohl die Verbindung da ist. bei Deinstallation wird zwar eine Lösung angeboten. die Seite aber nicht geöffnet
ta det rolig Norton arbejder på nogle hotfix de er bare ikke kommet det er en af fejlene som bliver rettet der er mange andre jeg har nogle af dem men ikke alle

I’m not a paid Beta tester and wasted bloody hours and hours on this rubbish for weeks - no more interest tonight.
Don’t need to be told, ‘take it easy’ - No response to officical Help requests, false promises on these boards of proper updates - had enough // can’t even type thje word: ti ck ets, here??
I am experiencing the same issue. Currently on 25.9.10453 (build 25.9.10453.954)
Tried all the same things mentioned above. Only fix is full Norton 360 reinstall (though repair sometimes works).
One thing I notice is that the sudden loss of all internet connection (Norton repair calls it a DNS issue) coincides with my laptop’s next Norton Auto-Update. Norton auto-Updates, and bang: no more internet access again (until I fully uninstall and reinstall).
I will check the KB5065426 security update next, though.
Very impressed with @JuanBonillaS_S comprehensive and detailed update post. World class support (and from a user/customer).
Also should add that it affects all browsers (and even Norton itself eventually), it only affects my laptop (not other users on same network, same router, same Norton 360 10 device account), and only started after I recently (week) upgraded this laptop to Windows 11 ver 24H2 (from 23H2)
I expect them fix late this mouth max all 4 major in norton 360 Complete internet blocking , Stability and performance issues, Firewall and cpu high use
jeg har info de rettede alle 4 fejl og det er Internet fejlen Firewall fejlen high cpu fejlen og unstable fejlen og kun dem og ikke flere jeg ved vad kommer i 25.11 når den er klar men forvent alt forsinket da de har fået nogle mega haste sager med Norton utilitets jeg fandt ca 5 major fejl som skal retest hurtig så 25.2 bliver mega stor så alle major bliver ca 1-2 måneder forsinket men bliver støre
You mean I have to live with these problems until there is a fix someone on the horizon??? That’s ridiculous! If I have to turn off my antivirus protection for my computer to work, then it’s no longer antivirus protection, but a high security risk that Norton should address as quickly as possible.
send all the info to mee if you want a fix asp i work tight whit norton now on the norton utilitets ass a beta so if you want help send me all the info asp ass i can get it to you and a fix asp i am a guru and a leder it just not stand there yet norton has a bug so want help ask me and i can a fix in days not weeks
