Computer problems after uninstall

Yesterday, I downloaded and installed OnlineFamily.Norton.  Unfortunately, it conflicted with Verizon Security Suite, so I uninstalled it.  Now my computer is running ridiculously slow (programs, internet connecting, re-boot) and I'm unable to access/getting error messages for many websites.  For websites that have embedded ads (for example, monster.com), the message "this program cannot display the webpage" displays in all of the ad boxes.  The "back button" function won't work about 50% of the time now.  My computer is only a few months old, so I'm concerned and frustrated by whatever changes were made by OFN and not "undone" with the uninstall.  Please help!

I received an error message saying that they conflicted.  The uninstall was "technically" successful (as in it ran completely through), so I cannot do as you suggest.  It's not showing up on my computer anywhere (All Programs or Control Panel), but it's clearly still affecting it!  My computer was working fine until I downloaded and installed the program and I had not made any other changes recently.

 

I forgot to mention that my computer freezes every time I try to access my email (MSN).
