"Computer Protection" links, "Settings" and other functions don't work

I recently installed Norton Internet Security 2011 on a Windows XP SP3 desktop.  I also have a Windows 7 laptop.  When I click "History", "Quarantine" or "Application Ratings" under the "Computer Protection" heading nothing happens.  The same applies which I click the yellow "Settings" jump near the top.  These functions do work on my laptop.

 

I've uninstalled the software and reinstalled it .  I've also run LiveUpdate which indicated that it downloaded 23 files.   But no improvement in the functionality.

 

Any suggestions?

What version of Norton Internet Security 2011 are you running? Open Support > About to obtain version info. Also, do you have any other real-time security products installed? When didi this started happening?

Current version installed:  18.5.0.125. 

 

I do not think I have any other real time security programs installed. 

 

I recently subscribed to the Norton program on my laptop and then loaded the program on my desktop yesterday which encountered the problems.

 

I do have the AT&T Service & Suppor Tool installed on both computers.

 

Is there a location which identifies known programs that have problems with Internet Security?
