Ever since Friday my computer won’t enter sleep mode. At first it was my 8.1 desktop, which went to sleep fine for the past few months. I went through all the problems that would keep it awake. Powercfg showed no requests to keep awake, no wake timers, only mouse and keyboard can wake up the computer, etc. etc. Now today I updated my Windows 7 desktop’s Norton and it’s having sleep problems too, where it wasn’t a few days ago. Went to sleep fine last night, then when I was done for the day I updated Norton and now it’s starting to not go to sleep after idle for 20 minutes. It’s no coincidence both computers that have Norton won’t enter sleep mode. And I see someone posted the same problem with Norton Security in that section of the forum. I have the latest Norton Internet Security.
