Ok I know this sounds stupid. But that has never stopped me : )

I have been reading several posts on here about how sonar or some other function of NIS was turned off NOT by the user. These posts indicate the user can see on the control panel that certain functions are off
Questions:
1. When that happens does the Norton icon in the system tray get a red X ?
2. Here is the stupid part
When you click on the Norton system tray icon, it will bring up that screen that shows all the various functions of NIS( not opening up the various setting, but on the front summary screen). On mine, all the little slider/buttons are aligned left. But they are not green. But rather a golden/yellow. Does that mean they are “on”?
