When I install the Toolbar Hotfix, Firefox 3.5 still tells me that Norton IPS 1.0 is incompatible and disabled, and the add-on listing for IPS is greyed out. (The general Norton Toolbar 3.51 entry looks fine.)
Athena’s post re the Hotfix refers to “the one feature that is missing from the IPS technology.” The way this is worded, I can’t tell whether she’s saying IPS should be functional now but still needs some tweaking by Symantec; or that it isn’t functional at all just quite yet with FF 3.5. Hopefully it’s the latter, in which case I’m OK. But if it’s the former, I’m not.
Can Athena or someone else from Symantec please clarify?
