Detailed description:Something disconnects my PC from ports 993 and 587 to Comcast IMAP mail servers. Is Norton doing this?

@z34jcm As a test disable these two settings for IMAP/SMTP and recheck. Also are you using a VPN when this happens? TIA.

Isthis safer than simply opening ports 993 and 587?

I’m suggesting just a test to see what if anything changes. The settings can be re-enabled at your convenience when the test is done. Disable any VPN you may be using as well.
