When I right-click on a file/dir, I have the context menu entry Norton AntiVirus, then a submenu "Scan Now" (dir) or "Insight Network Scan" (file).
Is there some way to get the Scan option right on the main context menu, having to hover on NAV, wait for submenu to open then click the Scan option, just seems an unnecessary step (yes I know its only millisecs but its still unnecessary).
Plenty of other AV progs I have seen put their Scan entry right on the main context menu. I have another installed at the moment which does exactly this. See screenshot.
Outpost SS puts "Scan for Malware" on the context menu.
Norton AV puts "Norton AntiVirus"on the context menu and you have to hover/click to get submenu entry to scan..
ps. don't tell me about the folly of simultaneous AV progs - that's outside of the scope of this issue
