Continued Norton Family Service Issues

I recently received an email from Norton acknowledging problems & malfunctions with the release their new product in November but that many of the issues have been resolved.  Well, I couldn't disgree more.  I've tried to remain patient while these issues were resolved visiting this forum on many occasions following all the tips and instructions offered.  The product is still not working properly, for me, so if the problems have been resolved, please see my list of issues below and expalin why they still exist or provide the resolution.

 

First, I am a premier (paying) member (and I'm not getting everything I paid for).  I run the family online product on two computers, my kids pc and the family laptop.  I have uninstalled & installed the updated product, on multiple occassions, on both pc's.  The main pc runs Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit.  The laptop runs Windows XP.

 

Issue 1: When my kids are online, it does not show them as being online.  In the past, before update, when I logged in to check their activity it would show a small green icon next to my kid(s) name signifying they are online.  I haven't seen this since the update, did this change?

 

Issue 2: The web surfing history & search history is coming thru but seems sporadic at best.  The one important history that is not coming thru is the video history.  The last time I received any video viewing history was 12/6.  I know my kid(s) go to youtube just about everyday so I know there is a problem.  I would normally check what they are viewing everyday.  This was the main reason I purchased the premier membership.  I really need this to work!!

 

Issue 3: The constant email alerts about the product not working.  I receive at least one alert almost everyday since late November saying the product shutdown and the computer needs to be restarted.  Below is a copy of the text in the alert.

 

"Norton Family is not running. This could be caused by a problem with the program, or else a user might have shut down a Norton Family component. Please restart the computer."

 

Its pointless for the product not to work or shut itself down so often.  I am at work & not home to restart the computer when my kids get home from school.

 

Issue 4: The inconsistency of the product functioning properly.  I have no idea if my kids are protected or not?  Are the web filters/blocks I selected working?  Given the sporadic history data, the fact no video viewing history is coming through and the constant alerts that the product shut itself down or is not running gives me zero confidence in your product.
