Hi ive got "Norton internet security" on my "windows 7 laptop" & when I do a scan it picks up "about 6 tracking cookies" this has only happened in the last two weeks I never used to pick up anything so why has it just started happing now

Mais rien de compliqué. La seule réponse que je peux te donner pour l'instant est qu'à chaque démarrage tu auras à remettre juste le mot de passe pour Identity Safe. Erreur, tu peux configurer sans demande de mot de passe au démarrage de Windows.
J'ai trouvé ceci En bas du post tu as un fichier .zip à télécharger, il y a des captures d'écran d'explications.
N'hésite pas pour plus d'explications.
Je ne trouvais pas comment supprimer un profil. J'ai cherché parout sur le PC, même dans la BDR alors que la réponse était sur le forum

Il y aura des améliorations à apporter mais j'ai fait une demo pour la configuration de Identity Safe.
Tu télécharges ce fichier .zip Tu mets les 3 fichiers (.htm + .swf + .js) dans un dossier et tu cliques sur le fichier HTM. Tu peux fermer sans crainte le message de FlashPlayer.
Tu peux également ouvrir uniquement le .SWF avec IE.

Tu l'enregistres sur ton DD, tu dois donc retrouver le chemin.
Si Norton l'avait bloqué tu aurais eu un message.

est-il préférable pour la sécurité de son ordi, de supprimer les cookies ? Sur les forums internet, les avis divergent. Comme je ne les ai jamais supprimés sur mon ordi, il y en a beaucoup et je n'envisage pas de faire le tri. Ce serait donc tout ou rien.

To allow and block cookies in IE6:-

Open Internet Explorer.

Click the "Tools" menu, and then click "Internet Options".

Click the "Privacy" tab, move the slider to the top to "Block All Cookies" or to the bottom to "Allow All Cookies", and then click OK.
If Identity Safe is not autofilling the logins that you have saved then please check the following steps:-
1) Open "Settings"->"Identity Protection"->"Identity Safe options" UI and check whether "Securely collect and autofill...." check box is checked.
2) Open "Settings" -> Under "Quick Control" check whether "Identity Safe" is ON.
3) Open "IE"->"Tools"->"Manage Add-ons" and check whether "Norton ToolBar" is enabled.
If possible please provide us the version of Norton 360 you have Installed and the OS on which you have installed the Norton Product. Product version can be seen under "Support"->"About". (Version Number may look something like this 5-0-0-125).

Cookies are managed in your browser's Privacy settings. In order for a site to remember you, the site needs to keep a cookie stored on your computer. In the Privacy settings, make sure that first-party cookies are allowed, third-party cookies (tracking cookies) are blocked, and that session cookies are allowed. Generally it is best if you set the options to remove cookies at the end of each browser session, but if you do this you will have to add sites that you log into to the Cookies Exception list and set them to "Allow." This will make sure that cookies for those sites will be retained, while all other cookies are deleted at the end of each session. See the following for some suggested steps to configure cookie settings:
Check in the add-ons of your browser. You need to enable the Norton BHO.

Deleting your cookies will not affect your stored credentials in Identity Safe. It may cause some of your preferences on certain sites to disappear, though. You should create exceptions in your browser's privacy settings to allow cookies to be retained for your frequently visited trusted sites. That way, those sites will remember you from one visit to the next.
