Thanks - that solution was what I needed. The inctructions on how to move the recovery points and data files were exactly what I was trying to accomplish.

Have a new external drive and want to copy my current back ups from the old drive to the new one so that Ghost will recognize these back ups and continue backing up to this new drive as if it were the previous one (hope this was clear). The reason I do not want to just start a new back up with the new drive is that I did a back up of the PC right after I reloaded Windows so I would have a base image if ever wanted to start over again.
Is this possible and if so - how do I go about it.

This is certainly possible. Please review the very last section in Chapter 8 of the Norton Ghost 12 User Guide for more information on moving your backup destination. Thanks!
