My Norton account says it is installed on 4 devices. One of those devices is an old Windows 7 PC that was mothballed. How can I remove that device from protection and set the devices to 3?
Log into your Norton Account at https://my.norton.com Then click on the user icon at the top right and click on My Subscriptions. Then find your current subscription and click on Manage licenses. Find the device you wish to remove and click on the trash can beside that device. That will free up the activation for you.
