When I was surfing last night I got a Norton message that it had blocked an intrusion. When I started up my computer this morning it dumped. It took a couple of starts to get on the computer but I got this message:
Windows - Corrupt File
The file or directory \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\SRTSP\SrtETmp is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utiltity.
I think I may be infected but my scans aren't showing anything. What is Check Disk and where do I find it on my computer? Do I need to reinstall Norton?
