Hi,
I'm running OSX 10.8.3 with NIS 5 (ver. 12.4.1) and I'm having an issue with automatic protection being turned off. What's worst, every time and manually turn it on, next time I open NIS it's off again. I've tried the sudo command from one of the previous threads but to no avail. And NIS displays info that it cannot load the scan engine. According to Live Update everything is up to dat.
Have a look at the screenshot below, hope it helps. This is really frustrating.
